This little lady comes to the feeder multiple times a day now, which is the first time she has done this. Very nice to watch. |

Goldfinches love Nerja seed, its some kind of thistle I think. I didn't expect them to come to the feeder in the warmer months but they do. |

Looks like a female Greater-spotted Woodpecker has adopted us, she has visited each of the last three days and seems to need the nutrition that the peanuts provide. Very wet and windy day so photo taken through a rain soaked window, note to self - must try harder! |

Amazingly the Little Ringed Plover's nest has escaped unscathed so far, can't wait for the chicks to hatch. |

Great news, the Robin babies have flown, all too soon. Amazing how quickly they develop after hatching. |

Find the birds nest in this shot! Three eggs in a Little Ringed Plover's nest on the gravel bank. Very well disguised. |

Northumberland National Park, Linhope Spout is maybe the best waterfall in the park, I'll try to get back there in the autumn when the leaves are changing colour, it should be great then. Anyway its a lovely waterfall and an idyllic spot. |

We met with a pretty good downpour as we hiked up to the waterfall, so I didn't spend too long there. Amazing 200ft waterfall though! |

We are honoured to have multiple birds nesting in our garden, most notably the Robin which chose this old nestbox. Six eggs and up to six young. They seem to be almost as large as the mother already. |
