I was walking along the river, filmed a nuthatch and a large cricket and some interesting reflections when the fisherman came into view. He didn't catch anything but there are large trout in the river here. |

I assumed this grebe was diving and eating fish, only when I saw the image close up did I realize that the food was something with legs and toes! Probably salamanders, wow. The realization shocked me I have to confess. |

Found this rattelsnake today to my delight, I have wanted to film one for a while and this one was a good subject. Also found burrowing owls in among the prairie dogs when I thought they would have migrated south by now. |

Went out early this morning with friends to shoot birds, and saw this stag approaching so I headed to quietly intersect his run and we ran into each other face to face. Incredible. |
