A stark reminder of the last world war came to my local airfield today with the arrival of B-17, B-24 Liberator and other aircraft from the period. Amazing to see them close up, and to see their armaments. More pics here. |

Went up Mt Evans (14,200 ft) today and found lots of Mountain Goats with kids. Then it started to hail on us, well it's high altitude tundra after all! More Mt Evans pictures. |

A couple of ne'er do wells if ever there was, a turkey vulture and a raven fighting over the remains of a prairie dog. Shooting from the car means that the car acts as a hide and the birds don't mind. |
